Contour Architecture

Contour Architecture designs creative spaces in Downtown Places.  We bring an urban design aesthetic to architecture in our drive to make Phoenix cool.

Architecture is about creating spaces for people

Christina Noble, AIA, LEED AP, Contour’s owner, is a 5th generation Arizona native with a strong passion to make her hometown a great place to live.  By focusing on smaller projects under 25,000sf Contour opened with a desire to have a greater impact on how Phoenix grows and develops while also maintaining strong relationships with clients.

Our primary focus is on adapting and renovating older buildings, new construction on empty downtown lots, exterior face lifts and interior tenant improvements in the Downtown centers of Phoenix, Scottsdale, Mesa, Tempe and Chandler.

As a 5th Generation AZ Native, Christina's great-great Grandfather moved to Glendale in the 1890s

As a small firm, we bring intimate attention and a friendly face combined with big firm experience.  Contour has been operating since 2010 backed by the experience of two professionals, Christina Noble, AIA, LEED AP and Ashish Dandavate, AIA, with fifteen and twenty years experience respectively.

Sustainability is central to our approach as we integrate smart decisions from the site plan through to the details of your project for peak energy efficiency starting from the beginning of the project to the end.  We often utilize energy modeling from the early stages to identify opportunities for significant energy efficiency while eliminating costly items with little payoff.

Our team is familiar with the various green check-lists and incentive programs such as LEED, the International Green Construction Code, and the APS and SRP incentive programs.  However, our vision of sustainability goes beyond lists and programs.  As an engaged advocate for smarter development, Christina has engaged with recent initiatives to create a unique and walkable Valley.
